To get more ideas for what to say about robots, I recommend watching the British show Humans, as well as reading the classic science-fiction novel by Isaac Asimov, I Robot.

Now it’s your turn to practice!

As this may be a difficult question type for you, a good idea would be to write out your answers first, giving you plenty of time to think.

Then, read your answers out loud, and add more details as you speak.

How would you answer today’s IELTS Speaking Part 1 questions?

  • 1) That’s a very interesting question ! Scientists and science researchers improve techniques by testing advanced technologies with robots to better understand our world as well as the universe in the film-making field. The audience feel like they have superpowers while the television or film is speaking to them .

    2) I hope so ! I’m in charge of making sure that everyone and everything is in the right place at home . Almost every day I am in need of urgent help . A robot , my most anticipated assistance , may reduce the frequency of my daily stress . It can become a part of my family .

    3) After the discovery of robots, computer-generated driving is invented like never before . But does a machine-based robot make a good driver ? Can I really feel calm, relaxed, and not thinking about my own safety in my car ? It’s worth a deep concern because I only live once after all.
